The New Yorker - 2017 Winter Cover Sketchs
by Bob Staake
$120.00
We were anticipating a warner than usual winter in 2017, so these two came to my mind. The left is a black pencil sketch of the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park during a film shoot at which they need to make fake snow. On the right (crimson and blue pencil) of ice "skating" on the boat pond. They're both very nice drawings, right? Quinessential New Yorker -- BUT rejected:( Overall size is 9" x 7.5" on white bond wit xeroxed mastheads --- Signed by Staake and embossed with studio seal.
